We are a rising four-piece rock band blending the grit of grunge, the energy of rock and the intensity of metal into a sound that is entirely our own. Our band is driven by a shared passion for music and a commitment to delivering unforgettable live performances. We spend countless hours rehearsing and are growing our collection of originals, including tracks such as Leave me be and Your Silence.
James Spencer

"Hey, I'm James, bassist of FOULPLAY. I've been playing the bass since I was fourteen. I'm from Dubbo, NSW and recently moved to Cairns, QLD. I have a wide background in everything from jazz, funk, pop and rock, enjoying all genres of music. I look forward to pursuing a music-based career in the future aswell as expanding my talent."
Zach Sutton
Guitarist
"G'day I'm Zach, I'm the lead guitarist from FOULPLAY. I've been playing guitar for six years and music is my passion. I'm originally from a little country town called Swan Hill in Victoria and moved to Cairns three years ago. I've been playing ever since a little form came from school in year seven asking if I'd be interested in learning an instrument. I haven't looked back since and i'm currently enrolled at CQU University doing a bachelor of music. I have a broad range of music inspiration from jazz to funk, to rock n' roll, to grunge and I can't wait to turn this into a career

"My name is Toby, I'm the drummer for FOULPLAY, I'm Welsh born, growing up in Swansea for most of my life until I moved to Australia in 2023. I've been drumming for years now and i've dabbled in different genres, but i'm finally making use of my potential and putting it towards this band where I can feel comfrtable in what I play."

"Hey, I'm Drew. I am the lead singer of FOULPLAY. Not only do I sing but have been playing guitar as well for many years. Born and raised in Cairns growing up surrounded by music, I want to share my passion for music and grow the Cairns music scene."
